The distribution will be on:
  • Friday December 22, 2017  
  • 8am to 10am
  • 1301 Cordone Avenue click for map, Reno
    Downstairs in the conference rooms. Go in the rear entrance.
  • DO NOT PARK IN THE ZONES STATING 'STAFF PARKING'
  • DOORS WILL OPEN AT 8 AM *** USE THE REAR ENTRANCE: IT'S EASIER & SOMEONE WILL BE AT THE DOOR TO LET YOU IN. (unless you're in a wheelchair, then use the ramp)
  •  Please, please DON'T STAND ON FRONT STAIRS, go to the rear door. PEOPLE WHO WORK IN THE BUILDING STILL HAVE TO ENTER THE FRONT DOOR

SAFF's Executive Director receives Christmas toys donated by staff with the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges. We are so thankful for so many toys to be distributed by SAFF to kids in foster care for 2017 Christmas!

We are expecting nearly 2,000 toys, gift cards, & movie tickets!​

SAFF is entered in the Newman's Own Challenge this December. The more donations we get, the more bonuses we are able to qualify for. Every little bit helps so, if you are able, please consider SAFF for your Holiday Donation this year.

If you know of a family who is homeless or really struggling financially - please invite them.  With holiday cheer and networking we may be able to even prevent kids from coming into the system during the holiday season!!!!!!!

Now taking reservations. Foster, Adoptive, & Birth Families.  200 kids and teens. Bring grandmas and grandpas and mothers and fathers and social workers.
 
Those who attend the party will be first on the list for Christmas toys/gift cards/movie tickets.

The annual SAFF Christmas party produced by the Sierra Nevada - National Charity League each year is.... **drum roll** ... Sunday December 10 from 2-4 pm. Place and theme will be announced shortly. It is always so much fun with games, crafts, delicious goodies, photos, and, of course, Santa Claus. 

CHRISTMAS PRESENTS - SAFF is working with quite a few partners as always, and this year is even more exciting when it comes time to distribute gifts. 


SAFF and the Reno Rodeo Foundation are working hand-in-hand for a joint distribution. PLUS RE/MAX Realtors and other community agencies... 

So, we anticipate MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY gifts to distribute on December 22 !!!

​SIERRA ASSOCIATION OF FOSTER FAMILIES with it's radio-internet family theatre production FOOD TREASURES is thrilled to have 14 year old Travis as the star actor... he is certainly one of the most talented teens we've seen on stage. A top notch professional!  His appearance is made possible by Laughing Owl Productions. FOOD TREASURES, an original children-family production written by SAFF's Joseph Galata  will begin broadcasting Wednesday Sept 27 at 3:30 on northern Nevada radio 1180 am and world wide internet  amm.streamon.fm ....and broadcast each Wednesday thru October November and December.
 
SAFF is thrilled to be working with  young Travis and 7 professional adult actors in this whimsical holiday 30 minute production about healthy eating!
