GENEROUS DONATION!

Joseph gave a 90 second speech at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Church and the congregation passed the plate for SAFF. The Tiffany Story Vocal Studio  

which partners with SAFF... held a recital on Saturday April 27 featuring 29 singers. Amongst them were McClain Simon and Lisa Simon who sang solos. McClain and Lisa have been studying singing with one of SAFF's most loved friends Tiffany Story. This brother and sister duo make us all proud! and we thank Tiffany for always being so generous to SAFF and so many other wonderful non profits in town. Many of SAFF's Christmas presents for the children and youth come from Tiffany's singers and their families!

The National Foster Care Prayer Vigil is a nationwide event initated to gather in Faith-based congregations  across the county ...

On Monday May 20 at 6:00.... at the Fellowship Community Church at 130 Hydraulic Street..... On the evening of May 10.... Washoe County Social Services will be hosting a dinner for  FOSTER PARENT APPRECIATION CEREMONY.

SAFF's In-home/After School Academic Tutoring Program

...is helping our children and teens achieve overwhelming victories in school! 

SAFF now has 25 academic tutors -  many from the UNR School of Medicine. 

WE THANK THE WASHOE COUNTY SOCIAL WORKERS FOR THEIR CONTINUOUS REFERRALS AND THEIR DEDICATION TO THE ACADEMIC SUCCESS OF THE YOUTH THEY SERVE DAILY!!!!! 

And we thank all of our community partners which support the education of the youth in foster care.. especially the Frank M. and Gertrude R. Doyle Foundation, the Unity Center of Reno, The Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, and so many more!
